Our Mission:
• To raise $7000 dollars for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
• Compete in the Suzuki Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon in San Diego on June 6th, 2004
• Race in celebration of our personal honor patients

About the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society:
• The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families
• Provides money for research, patient aid, community, service programs, public and professional education
• Since its founding in 1949 the Society has raised over $358 million dollars for research
• In 1960 the survival rate for leukemia was only 4% and thanks to research by the society it is now 81%
• Chemotherapy which is a treatment used for most forms of cancer was pioneered by leukemia research
